This project came to us from a young family in Wheaton who had just welcomed a new baby—and with a growing household came a growing need for simplicity. The homeowner had tried to modernize their space with a collection of off-the-shelf smart lighting devices from various brands. But instead of convenience, they were left with a patchwork system that confused the household and frustrated guests—especially Grandma.

What they really needed wasn’t more technology—it was better technology. A system that felt cohesive, elegant, and truly easy to use.

We introduced them to Lutron’s smart lighting platform—a uniform, intuitive solution that brought clarity to the entire home. In addition to lighting, we extended smart control to bathroom exhaust fans, eliminating noisy, always-on switches and replacing them with quiet, intelligent automation.

We also tackled a few common pain points: confusing 3-way and 4-way light switches. With Lutron’s system, we were able to simplify these circuits, streamlining control across multiple entry points without relying on inconsistent toggles or guesswork. The result is lighting that just works—beautifully and reliably—from any switch or keypad.
